Volunteers and Billet hosts are the heart of Sappyfest. You are the reason things run smoothly and that audiences, artists, and crew are happy, comfortable, fed, and having fun!
Whether you are interested in assisting at the bar, working at the box office, serving food to artists, helping at the doors, selling merchandise, supporting the stage, handling recycling, shuttling folks around, or keeping folks safe through the safety squad, we need you!
In addition to volunteers, we are also seeking billet hosts who can provide clean, comfortable, and safe accommodations for our visiting artists. By opening your home to an artist, you play a crucial role in the festival’s success and help artists put their best work forward. Hosting an artist not only supports the festival but also offers a unique opportunity to connect with creative individuals and be a part of their festival experience. Each year, we depend on the generosity of Sackville residents who kindly offer their homes to visiting artists.
