Annie France Noël

Annie France Noël is a visual artist, photographer, educator and cultural worker. Her practice lies at the intersection of the invisible and the inexpressible, where she explores intimacy, vulnerability and the mechanisms of perception. Annie France lives, mothers and creates on unceded Mi'kma'ki territory (Moncton, NB).

Texere Memoria is an allegorical interpretation of the French folk song La Laine des Moutons presented as an installation-performance. Annie France works with sheep’s wool and its various stages of transformation to evoke care, emotional labour and transference.
