Early Bird Weekend Pass sales ended on April 11th and Advanced Weekend Passes are on sale now for a limited time. This is an affordable way to take in the entire festival, so get yours today before prices go up on June 1st! See below for all ticket prices and sale end dates.

SAPPYFEST 19 WEEKEND PASSES

Adults (age 19+)

  • Early Bird Weekend Pass: $115 + tax and fees. On sale March 8th-April 10th

  • Early Bird Weekend Pass (for students, seniors, and under/unemployed): $90 + tax and fees. On sale March 8th-April 10th

  • Advanced Weekend Pass: $125 + tax and fees. On sale April 11th-May 31st

  • Regular Price Weekend Pass: $135 + tax and fees. On sale June 1st-August 2nd

  • Accessibility Weekend Pass: Ticket-buyers requiring a support person may reserve one free ticket with the purchase of their own. Please contact us at director@sappyfest.com after making your purchase to reserve your free accessibility pass.

Youth (age 13-18) and Children (age 12 and under)

Sappy Families! We love your kids, we love it when the site is alive with youth and children! It's incredible to witness. Youth and children have historically been admitted free of charge at Sappyfest, and while budget realities have changed, we want to continue keeping barriers low. 

  • Youth Weekend Pass (age 13-18): By donation (suggested donation of $60.00). Available March 8th-August 2nd

  • Children 12 and under: Free

Youth and Children are permitted at the Bridge Street Tent (the main festival grounds) and other satellite venues (excluding bars) but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has purchased a pass.  


SAPPYFEST 19 SINGLE TICKETS (FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY)

  • Adults (age 19+): $60 + tax and fees On sale at final lineup announcement

  • Youth (age 13-18): By donation (suggested donation of $30.00) Available at final lineup announcement

  • Children (12 and under): free 

~ABOUT THE EVENT~

  • Located on Bridge Street, the main festival grounds occupy a central spot in Sackville's downtown district. The main site features a performance tent, a beer garden with regional craft alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a merchandise market, vendor grounds, and an open space with picnic tables. Off-site venues, which vary annually, may include Struts Gallery, the Royal Canadian Legion,  Mount Allison Chapel, Owens Art Gallery, Bruntun Auditorium, Ducky's Pub, and the Sackville United Church, among others.

  • Bar venues are 19+ and an ID is required for entry. ID required at Bridge Street Tent (the main festival grounds) if you would like to purchase alcohol.

  • All shows are General Admission.

  • Admission is guaranteed at the Bridge Street Tent (the main festival grounds). Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis at all other venues due to legal capacity parameters. Arrive early to secure your spot!

  • This event is rain or shine.

  • No refunds except in the situation of full event cancellation by Sappyfest. If you cannot make it, passes and tickets can be transferred to another year of your choosing or transferred to another person. 

~Looking for a place to stay?~

Book your stay at Mount Allison University residences.  The University offers affordable rates, wireless internet, and cozy rooms—all within a kilometre radius of the festival grounds, local restaurants, shops, and businesses, so that you don’t have to miss out on any of the action.  Call 506-364-2247 to book.

Safety: We prioritize care, safety, respect, and a welcoming environment for everyone regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, language, nationality, race, religion, size, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or otherwise.  By purchasing tickets to Sappyfest, you agree to adhere to our Code of Conduct found on our Safety and Inclusion page.


COVID-19 measures:  In the spirit of community care and to help protect touring artists, our team, and audiences, we encourage wearing masks. We will have kn95 masks on hand to distribute for free and we will have Corsi–Rosenthal air filtration boxes at all indoor venues. Please practice good hand washing hygiene, cough or sneeze into your arm, practice consent when touching people or encroaching on personal space, and stay home if you are experiencing symptoms. Sappy-goers who begin experiencing symptoms during the festival must leave. If this happens to you, please contact productionassistant@sappyfest.com immediately. We will transfer your pass or ticket to another year of your choosing or facilitate a refund.

Washrooms: Sappyfest utilizes multiple indoor and outdoor venues throughout Sackville all with varied combinations of gender neutral, gendered, single and multi-stall washrooms. Detailed information will be available when our 2024 venues are finalized. Please check back for updates or email us at director@sappyfest.com with any questions. We encourage all festival venues not operated by Sappyfest to mark their washrooms as gender neutral during Sappyfest. 

Financial Accessibility: Sappyfest is committed to programming several free events each festival including musical performances, artist talks, workshops, and art, and there are many opportunities to take in the festival in exchange for volunteer time. If cost is a barrier, please keep an eye on our website for free events and volunteer opportunities.
