DJ mommy and User 9

Anti-fascist, bone playing duo from Nova Scotia return to the marshland - swapping a swinging cagelight for spinning b2b decks.

Often presented in a casual and playful techno collaboration format - Dj mommy & User 9 provide an invitational practice less focused on mastery and more grounded in community activation and cohesion.

Inspired by local, underground art and music - their spirit is rooted in the simple knowledge that "we have to make our own fun" and that art is a vehicle that can transform reality and belongs everywhere with everyone. Together we cling onto the desperate hope that collective movement can provide temporary refuge in a world gone properly mad.
